Placer

History

Placer Title Company was founded by Leo French in 1973. Mr. French’s vision was to create a work environment that placed an emphasis on the best interests of the people. His dream: "To bring together a group of people who really care about each other and about their customers." Mr. French believed that if this was accomplished, success would follow. Beginning with only two offices - one in Roseville, California and the other in Auburn, California, Placer Title Company has grown throughout Northern California and beyond.

About Placer County

With over 1,400 square miles of the most beautiful and diverse geography in Northern California, it is no wonder that Placer County has been the fastest growing county in all of California! Placer County consists of over 348,000 residents in the cities of Roseville, Lincoln, Rocklin, Loomis, Auburn, Foresthill, Colfax, Tahoe City, and Kings Beach. Within its borders, residents enjoy picturesque farm land with Gold-Rush era towns dotting the oak-covered foothills, and tumbling rivers and clear alpine lakes contributing to the natural beauty of the High Country. Furthermore, the High Country is home to some of the nation's most famous ski resorts and the 1960 Olympics in Squaw Valley. Over half of beautiful Placer County is National Forest and State Park property, offering wild and scenic rivers, breathtaking streams, valley views and high mountain vistas, giving residents and visitors many recreational possibilities. Placer County brings you closer to nature, surrounds you with history and provides the lifestyle of country living with big city convenience.

Placer Title Company remains actively involved in the Placer County community and continues to expand our services to best suit the needs of our clients and residents. Under the leadership of Placer County Division President Mary Jane Fiscus, our Placer Title locations in Auburn and Roseville offer Residential, Commercial and Builder/Developer Services, along with a local Title Plant located in Rocklin. Our Placer County offices are proud to have facilitated the Stanford Ranch and Whitney Ranch transactions. Whether you come for an afternoon or a lifetime, we invite you to visit and discover Placer County yourself; we look forward to continuing to serve the communities in Placer County!
