Placer Title Company has locations in Grass Valley and Truckee, led by Nevada County Division President Nathan Blatnick. We look forward to continuing to serve our local communities by providing superior title and escrow services in a place that we are proud to call home!

About Nevada County

Nevada County was organized from a part of Yuba County in 1851 and encompasses 978 square miles. Anchored by the cities of Grass Valley and Nevada City, the area is known as the “Gold Country” for its role in the California Gold Rush. Nevada County offers a four-season climate, and is known for being located “above the fog, and below the snow.” This County is rich in history, as it was an integral part of the gold rush days and many landmarks have been developed as State Historic Parks. The landscape offers beautiful rolling hills surrounded by tall green pines, graceful oaks in lower elevations, and snow-covered Sierra peaks in the background, creating a unique county full of recreational opportunities in winter and summer. Extensive mountain hiking and biking trails, several lakes and golf courses, and world-class ski resorts make Nevada County a recreational dream. Also, quality of education is hallmark – our K-12 educational system is one of the highest achieving in all of California, scoring second in reading and math achievement tests among all of California’s 58 counties!
