Our Story

We have been proudly serving Solano County as Placer Title Company since 1985 with our purchase of Cal Land Title, a local division of Lawyers Title. Joey Lafon and the rest of their key group used their abundant energy, positivity and spirit to attract a stellar group of like-minded, high energy people to join the Solano team. Together, they earned a solid reputation of providing top-shelf service to their customers and clients. This operation continually serves residential, commercial, and builder/developer clients in the Solano County area with great knowledge of their county. Solano County has the only on-site title plant in Solano County centered in their Fairfield location.

We are located in Northern California and are nestled between the cities of San Francisco and Sacramento, with a portion of the county lying in the Sacramento Valley. The county covers 823 square miles with over 400,000 residents and was formed as one of the original 27 counties of California’s statehood. Agriculture is diversified with approximately 70 different commodities including fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, and live stock.
